Â It seems like the poppies were just blooming in fields of wheat. TimeÂ seems to go by faster in the Summer to me. The wheat gets harvested about the same time as lavender does.

Â The field is owned by the sheep farm owner and I see these round bales of hay piled up in his barn.
Not much left, just some prickly stalks
Â I’ve heard that they are going to stop putting hay and wheat into these round bales and go back to the rectangular bales as it is hard for livestock to get a square meal anymore. (I know. Sorry. It’s a little rural humor.)
