Well, not her smile exactly, but how about her eyes? Fauchon has a really tasty eclair that somehow, I’m sure using some sort of computer, puts images in chocolate on pastries. Almost too pretty to eat, but I managed.

Wow. What a cute little place and the eclairs look amazing! I sure with Americans had a love affair with pastries like the French do. I’d be in heaven….and probably a little fat… but very, very happy!
OMG! You’re going to have to send me a list (along with addresses and/or directions) to some of these fabulous places (especially this one). I’m going to be in Paris this summer (we’re flying our niece over here for a graduation gift and plan to take her to Paris) and I’m hoping to make a solo trip in April. I MUST have some of those pastries. How do you bring yourself to eat something that beautiful?

Do give the ballet a try! I love it and it’s worth going to once just to experience. And going to the ballet in Paris? Oh, my. Lovely.
Have I mentioned that I’m absolutely besotted with France and am planning to retire there at least part-time? These are just a few of the reasons why.
