I did a tour with a mother and her daughter. The daughter was such a cute little thing, age 9, and she carried her stuffed pig with her everywhere. The pig, named Piggy-it’s a she-was in every single photo that I took of them. I decided that he deserved a photo of his own.
The little girl was really suffering from jet lag and a couple of times begged to go back to the hotel so she could sleep. That’s when I asked her mother if she ever let her daughter drink Coca Cola. The reply was no, she had never had it, not even once. Because her mother wanted to finish the tour we decided to buy her first bottle, plastic, of Coca Cola. The little girl loved it and chugged it down and immediately brightened up. I felt a little guilty as I’m sure she is still begging for a coke every day.

Ah how sweet….!
I cannot remember the last time I had coca cola…it really is not good for me..it makes me feel ill..I hope the little girl doesn’t ask for it everyday, but at least the mum got to finish the tour
I didn’t know you did tours
Oh Linda, you evil corrupter of small children
I love the photo!
Let me know when you’re back
What a wonderful time that must have been! Great shot.
Wonderful story and photo.
You naughty tour guide – and I just bet you have more tricks like that up your sleeve!!! Glad we had wine with that lunch, I never drink soda.
Paris – wish I was there right now, without a pig though.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! I had to laugh out loud at that:)
Love the photo, Linda. Hey, even I use a coke to get me going sometimes and/or get rid of a headache.
Wisj I was there to take another tour. So many places to go and things to see.
OMG!!!
This is so funny!
I am painting a portrait of her and her daughter and that very PIGGY in front of the Eiffel Tower!
It has to be the same pair..
This is excellent reference for “Piggy”
Thank you!
