Franglish

I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve my French. So when I heard about Franglish I thought I would give it a try.

The concept is that a French speaker sits with an English speaker at a table at a cafe previously set up. You speak in French for 7 minutes, then English for 7 minutes. You then switch tables and talk with another person. The session lasts two hours. There were a lot of people there when I went and they were nice enough to put me mostly with people my own age, although I did sit with two young people. For ten Euros you get to practice your French, help a French person with their English (although, as is often the case, their English is very good) and a free drink is included. I had a lot of fun and met some nice people.
