I was up at the top of Montmartre yesterday and here are a few things I saw:

A whole lot of people sitting on the steps in front of Sacre Coeur.

Sun shining through a stained glass window.

A better than average mime. There are many now who just stand there in a Egyptian costume and bow if you put money in their box. This guy actually interacted with the crowd and did those fancy mime moves.

A crepe to hold you until dinner.

  1. I’ll take the crepe – you can keep the mime. I about died laughing in the Die Hard movie where Bruce Willis is driving through the park and admitted he might have been aiming for the mime! They are just a bit less toxic than clowns in my book.

  2. I would like a nice crepe with butter and a little powered sugar on it.
I always get hungry when I visit here!
The stained glass window is so pretty. I love how the red light streams in.
