As usual, I have some photos that don’t belong to a place or theme-just taken here and there.
This lace concoction was in a Japanese restaurant window showing a dessert in the middle.
I liked this lamp.
Monoprix, a well known grocery store in France, has also opened stores selling food to go. Monop’ is the nick name for Monoprix.
Arch is a French shoe company. I was in it the other day and it looks like bright, primary colors will be in this season although I did see a lot of pastels online the other day. I am not a stylish person so I don’t have a clue. I’m not sure if I would wear these though.
That’s a lot of color.
I like the high-heeled sandals. I bet they would look nice with jeans.
Georges was telling me he read that color is really coming back in style in Paris. He was excited by this because he prefers wearing colorful suit jackets (with black pants) to work and he will not wear a black or grey suit at all; nothing that smacks of “banker”. But finding colorful sport coats for men is nearly impossible; he goes to thrift stores and sometimes finds decent ones but they are few and far between. And he’s wearing out the ones he has. He may not be GQ fashion material but he’s got his own style and it makes him happy. So for his sake I do hope color is BACK for a while. Paris is too black and grey most of the time anyway.
Hmmm. I’m trying to find a correlation between your photos. I can see a lot of movement in the first two photos. That lace around the dessert looks like it defies gravity. The colorful flats look like they might be fun.

Great colors. I am no fashionista myself and stick with plain shoes most of the time.
The tatting around the dessert is lovely. My mother used to do that kind of lace work.
Arche always has such wonderful colors… unfortunately for me, I find them very very uncomfortable and too expensive. Bummer because they are so cute! Great photos, as usual.
