Strolling Through the Left Bank

The Left Bank is a wonderful area in Paris to stroll around. There are interesting shops everywhere and that famous Parisian architecture.

A tartine with rare lamb slices on top. Doesn’t it look good? My friend had it and I just looked as she ate it.

I thought this was rather clever-a mix of gastronomy and bistro.

Wouldn’t it be great to have an apartment with a terrace like this? I never will but I can dream. There is a large terrace across the courtyard from us and on, usually, Saturday nights in the summer there are dinners going on with candles lit. The noise carries too even though they aren’t partying.

I’ve always loved this courtyard off of Cour St Andres.

  1. I love all of these shots. I wish you’d just take your camera everywhere and narrate everything you see! I guess that’s asking for too much.
