An friend took me around her neighborhood located in the 15th arrondissment, one that I am very seldom in.
There is a covered structure, now used for markets, where animals were once butchered. This statue represents the workers once there.

I liked this cafe with a bar lined with “books”. I liked the floor too. The books represent a famous, weekly book market that takes place across the street.
This was on the front of an old boulangerie. I’m always interested in old advertisements like this one.
It looks like this could be on the seaside but it actually is over a fish market there.
