The person buried here obviously either loved books or had something to do with them-publisher, librarian, author?

I thought this angel had more personality and spunk than most angels you see in a cemetery.

This is the tomb of aritist Gericault. He is the creator of an enormous painting in the Louvre called the Raft of the Medusa about a true happening involving a ship wreck and the few who survived which you can see in the sculpture on the side of the tomb. Gericault died at the age of 32.

I took this photo as we were on the way to the airport. The sky looked incredible.
