In the summer I often miss sunrise and sunset in Paris as I am home without much access to what is going on in the sky. Since, in late Autumn and early Winter, the sun is late to rise and early to set, I catch much more going on with the sky.

One morning the sun was breaking through some clouds and I got the photo of golden sun on the bridge along with its reflection in the Seine.

This was the shot in the opposite direction.

You can’t see the light as well on the Tour St Jacques which is what is left of a church from centuries past.

Inside the tower is a statue of Pascal who did scientific experiments here.

I wished I had had the Seine or the Eiffel Tower in the foreground with this sky but as I was at Nation, I just got a photo of the sky.
