Back in Paris

We are back in Paris for the rest of the month, not counting a couple of trips while here. We arrived to hot weather and blue skies and a dusty apartment without a view of the ocean but I’m not complaining.

Chickens roasting at our butchers along with potatoes below catching the drippings. They are always nice for a quick, tasty meal.

I love falafal but haven’t had any in some time. I saw this store while in the Marais. You can get it to go and eat as you walk down the street.

Various vegetables which are put on a falafal.

People enjoying the sun on the grass at Place des Vosges.

One reason we came back to Paris-to see one day at the French Open. We saw Sharapova defeat Azarenka and Serena Williams easily defeat the Italian, Eranni. Except for a brief rain shower, we roasted in the sun. Such a great ambiance there.

  1. Those rotisserie chicken and potatoes look so yummy, and it’s only 6 a.m. here. Glad you got to see some of the French open. What do they call it in France? Just Roland Garros after the stadium?
