I was up on Montmartre visiting a friend and, as usual, found lots to photograph.
I had lunch up there and had this really good carrot soup with cumin and coconut milk. It was really tasty.
I liked the exterior of this restaurant, all in red, and decided to see if I could get a photo of the interior but got this lady inside instead.
A little grocery store with its wares displayed outside on the sidewalk-very Parisian.
I was almost comatose with jet lag so, after lunch, I thought walking a bit would help and came up on this little man with his beret.
I passed the Montmartre cemetery and quickly dropped in. November 1st was All Saints Day and, as you can see, there were still some mums left which is a big custom in France.
Dalida was a big pop star in her day (she eventually committed suicide) who lived in Montmartre and her tomb has a life sized model of her. I saw it years ago and stopped in again for another photo.
