First part of March-

Maurice and I are in the States for the month of March visiting family. We landed in NYC and drove to Nashville where we visited my sister. On the way we discovered the neat little city and capitol of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg. It is one of those cities with a river running through the center of it with bridges and nice walking paths.

Here is one of the bridges reflected on the river.

There is a beautiful capitol building in Harrisburg, this was inside by the stairs.

We spent a few hours in Gettysburg. Here is a statue of a general at the site of an important battle where the tide turned in favor of the North.

My sister's truck, a 30's body with a Corvette engine-can really move.

Second half of March

One of the main reasons I returned to Texas was to see the grandkids. I was also there to see the newest addition, my first granddaughter after 4 grandsons. Her name is Ella Mae.

Second day of her life.
