Love to walk around the Left Bank area of Paris. It is endlessly fascinating.
Seen on the exterior of a shop selling glasses.
A colourful little grocery store.
This arch caught my attention. I think it used to be one of those high entrances into a courtyard. I’m just surprised it wasn’t plastered over.
You have a great eye for detail!
What I’ve learned about my town, Carcassonne, is that there were many very narrow streets between buildings, which eventually were built over and became entries to courtyards.
I find history and ancient architecture so interesting.
I agree that you definitely have a knack for finding great subjects for your photos. Most of the things I would simply walk past. Thanks for playing along with Dreaming of France. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
